Magistrate at Ma Fan Wai on Saturday, is that of M.Ct.Fung whom I saw beheaded. I recognized the features.
Ku Akin declared:
I am a hawker of sweetmeats, residing at Tai Kok Tsui at Kowloon. On 30th ult., about 4 p.m. I was told by the interpreter to the Kowloon District Office to take the following message to Tok Chow: that the deceased's family could take the body of Ng Afung and bury it. I went to Tok Chow and told Ng Afung's mother and wife. I was promised a hundred cash by the interpreter to take the message.
Le Akin declared:
Ng Afung is my daughter-in-law's husband; my daughter-in-law, Ng Lan N-fung is a widow. I remember on the 30th ult., nothing going will Law Afung, of the neighbour, three undertakers and some others came to the beach at Kowloon City. There I saw the head of Ng Afung hanging from the bamboos on a wooden stand. Near the bamboos his body was buried. The undertakers and I got the body out of the ground. I identified it as that of my son Ng Afung. I knew the hand and foot. The hands were tied behind the body, a piece of hemp was round the thighs. I let down the head and then we had the head and body removed to the beach of Ma Fan Chung. Then I got a coffin, and took it to the place where it was viewed on Saturday. The head and body identified by me on the 30th ult. before the Magistrate at Ma Fan Wai are the head and body of my son Ng Afung which I brought from the beach at Kowloon City.
